Donkey Head

$1,450.00

This sculpture was formed from steel rod and hand-sewn with pink nylon and white thread. It was inspired by a brass donkey head I found at an auction and couldn’t leave without. The translucent, fleshy nature of the nylon references the impermanent nature of the human body, and the way we use objects to live beyond ourselves.

Donkey Head

17” x 5” x 6”

steel, nylon, thread

This sculpture ships in a handmade crate made by me.

The artist, Jacqueline Yvonne (a.k.a. Jacqueline Yvonne Tull), retains all copyrights to any artwork I have created. The purchase of my art does not give the buyer the right to redistribute, sell, or use the art on marketing materials without prior written permission from the artist. If you are interested in a licensing agreement, please contact me directly.

I am a one-woman show! Please allow up to 30 days for your order to be processed and shipped. Purchases using payment plans with AfterPay will be shipped after the final payment. If you are buying for a gift or special event and need an item sooner, please reach out to me and I will do my best to accommodate.

Web display of artwork is affected by lighting conditions at the time of photography and differences in screen resolution, display brightness, and color settings. Please note that the actual artwork may up to 10% different in appearance in person due to these factors. If you are unsatisfied with any purchase, please contact me directly by email within 30 days of purchase for a full refund upon the return of the artwork in its original condition. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.

It is critical for my financial sustainability to have agency over my second-hand market (any resale of my art after purchase). By purchasing this art, the buyer agrees to give me (the artist) first opportunity to buy it back from the purchaser before it is offered to another buyer; if the buyer intends to sell my artwork in the future to another collector, the buyer agrees to email me directly at my primary email address with a written offer to sell the work back to me, and allow up to 30 days from the date of contact to receive a response from me. If I agree to buy the artwork back at fair market price (a price comparable to the current sale price of similar works), the buyer agrees to sell it back to me and return the physical artwork in good condition to an address indicated by me within 30 days from the date of purchase. If I fail to respond within 30 days, or decline the offer to buy the work back, the buyer has the right to sell the original artwork to another party and provide me with a 10% royalty on the difference between the original purchase price and the sale price.
